Our Content Standard
A practice question is only useful if it's right — and stays right. Here's the standard every NCLEX Drill question is held to, no exceptions.
1. Written for the real exam — both of them
NCLEX Drill serves two tracks: NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN. Every question is mapped to one of the 8 official NCSBN client-needs categories from the 2026 test plan for its exam (RN and PN plans both effective April 1, 2026), and our quizzes are weighted toward each exam's actual percentage ranges — so your practice mirrors what the real test emphasizes. PN questions are written to PN scope: contributing to care plans, data collection, and supervised practice.
2. Every rationale shows its evidence
No "because I said so" answers. Every rationale follows The Nurse Mata Method — the clinical principle, why the right answer is right, and a memory aid — and cites its evidence from our validation triad:
- Nursing textbooks — core concepts as taught in accredited programs
- Clinical guidelines — AHA, CDC, and specialty guidelines, named explicitly
- Peer-reviewed research — where the evidence base matters
3. Verified — and re-verified
Every question carries a verification date. Medicine changes: guidelines get updated, recommendations shift. Our system flags any question older than 12 months or tied to a superseded guideline for review, and we run a full re-verification pass every quarter. Stale content gets fixed or removed — it never just sits there.
4. You keep us honest
Every rationale has a "Report an issue" link. If you spot something wrong — or something guidelines have changed — tell us. Reported questions are reviewed every week, and confirmed problems are fixed or pulled immediately. Our users are our final peer review.
